One of my recent jobs was for Metta Theatre. They are a company I love working with and are constantly creating great work. I lose track of the number of projects they have on the go at any one time. When they asked if I was free to shoot their new show WELL I got very excited. I took some photos back in April during the R&D for the show and knew it was going to look great.

Last week I had a fairly hectic time travelling around the country, but I finished my week in Newcastle at Northern Stage. It was at the very beginning of my exploration of photography and I had an idea then that it was something I wanted to turn into a profession. What I couldn’t have anticipated at the time is that 4.5 years later I would still be photographing their work and that it would be on a stage at the West Yorkshire Playhouse. Read More

Last week I was invited along to the first read/stagger through of Unlimited Theatre’s new show The Noise. The brief was to take rehearsal photographs that could be used for press and social media as well as some video footage that could go with an interview I was filming. I jumped at the chance. I love taking rehearsal photos, unfortunately for me a lot of the younger/emerging companies I work with tend to overlook them due to time and budget constraints..
Why do I love them? Read More
